1. Hot Water Extraction and Dual System Process
Here we first spray down the carpet with our eco friendly and non harmful product. This allows to effectively shampoo the carpet/ upholstery enhancing the cleaning process.
we then use our modernised brushing machine to bring all excess dirt and stains to the surface with dust mites and other various substances in the pile.
The next stage is to use our brand new Steam Pro max state of the art machine to remove and extract all dirt and product from the carpet before drying it.
2. Upholstery Water Extraction / Steam Cleaning
Here we follow similar steps to the carpet extraction but we use different methods to reach the same goal. Upholstery is usually more fragile so we manually use a hand brush with the pre spray treatement to shampoo the upholstery, before using our hand tool to extract and leave your sofa clean and soft again.
3. Spot and Stain Removal
So stains are all different in substance and how they chemically react with each carpet. at D&J carpets we have every stain remover to fight not only common stain such wine, coffee and blood but we can tackle other stains such as rust & more. A carpet isn't truly cleaned until all stains are cleared so we take valuable time erasing stains or any other unfortunate spots.
4. Dry Cleaning Service Upholstery/ Carpets
This service wet sensitive upholstery/ carpets such as some cotton, linen fabrics, hessian, natural crush velvets etc.
The fabrics can be spoilt if cleaned with the wet cleaning process and so we offer a Dry Cleaning system which is completely safe for the fabric. It does however require the use of dry odourless spirit solvent cleaners, which are regarded as toxic and therefore require the area to be avoided for up to 24 hours after the cleaning has been carried out.

It should be noted that this system is very much a maintenance preventative cleaning system. It should used well in advance of the fabric becoming visibly dirty as the results of improvement to soiled fabric are moderate and not in anyway restorative. Solvents are effective at breaking down grease and oils. Engrained soil, marks and stains which are not of an oily nature will not be effectively removed.
